Upcoming City Council Town Halls Focus on Emergency Preparedness

Medford residents are invited to attend two upcoming City Council Town Halls to connect with local leaders on emergency preparedness.

These events provide an opportunity for community members to hear from City Councilors, the Mayor, and city staff, and ask questions about the city’s emergency response efforts and planning strategies.

The following town halls are scheduled:

Town Hall 1: Hosted by Ward 1 & 3 Councilors and the Mayor

Date: Wednesday, April 30
Time: 6:00 – 7:30 PM 
Location: Prescott Room, Medford Police Headquarters (219 S. Ivy St.) 

Town Hall 2: Hosted by Ward 2 & 4 Councilors and the Mayor

Date: Thursday, May 15
Time: 6:00 – 7:30 PM 
Location: Smullin Health Education Center, Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (2825 E. Barnett Rd.)

The town halls are designed to address the growing needs of our community. Previous events have addressed topics such as homelessness, transportation projects, and housing initiatives.
