The vision of the City of Medford Geographic Information System (GIS) program is to provide spatial capabilities in support of the business processes of the City of Medford via a modern, sustainable, easy-to-use, COTS-based, enterprise GIS platform that follows best practices and is available to everyone, anywhere, on virtually any device.
In support of this vision the GIS program aims to improve the delivery of City services by providing reliable access to current and accurate geospatial information that empowers informed decision making, fosters collaborative partnerships, and provides leadership in the strategic use of geospatial technologies in accordance with the city’s goals and objectives.
