Foothill Road from Hillcrest Road to East McAndrews Road is Open

Foothill Road from Hillcrest Road to East McAndrews Road is now open to traffic. 

Please note that there is a 35 MPH temporary speed limit for construction posted in the area. 

Because construction will continue in this area for an extended period of time, please plan accordingly and budget extra time for your commute. 

Future road closures related to this project will be announced beforehand. 

The work is part of the $62 million Foothill Road project being constructed in part due to a $15 million Federal Build Grant received by Medford. It improves Foothill Road from Delta Waters Road south to Hillcrest Road.  

When complete at the end of 2026, the existing two-lane road will feature two lanes in each direction, along with turn lanes, sidewalks, bike lanes and street lighting. Project information is available at: FoothillRoadProject.org.
