Contest Guidelines:

  • Open to all high school students in Medford

  • Use of color is encouraged
  • Only one entry per artist is allowed
  • By submitting, artists grant the City a limited license to feature their artwork across City platforms, including social media and the website

Last year’s winning artwork reflected the heart of Medford, from depictions of beloved local traditions—such as the Winter Lights Festival and Pear Blossom Parade—to everyday connections that bring people together.

Funding for the contest is provided by the Council Community Initiative Fund, which uses marijuana tax revenue to support community programs and projects that align with the City Council’s Biennial Goals.
