The results are in! The City of Medford is thrilled to announce the winners of the Community Art Contest (2024), which invited high school students to showcase their creativity around this year’s theme: “Community.”

After reviewing a remarkable selection of submissions, the City Council selected four outstanding artists whose work best captured the spirit of Medford. Their pieces reflect the heart of our city, from depictions of beloved local traditions—such as the Winter Lights Festival and Pear Blossom Parade—to the everyday connections that bring people together.

City Council Art Contest Winners:
  • Madeline Pepper "My interpretation of the winter lights festival"
  • Serafina Batista "Growers and Crafters"
  • Kiah Otjen "Natures Contrast"
