Due to winter weather conditions, a severe weather shelter will be open Tuesday, Feb. 11, and Wednesday, Feb. 12. Volunteers are urgently needed to operate the shelter. MADGE (Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement) is a gang and narcotics team comprised of local, state and federal investigators that work in partnership with other government agencies to share information and resources to dismantle drug trafficking and other criminal organizations operating in the Jackson County area. Jackson County has been designated as a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA.)
This allows federal funds to be spent to pull together resources from multiple agencies. MADGE consists of five different law enforcement agencies: Medford Police Department, Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Jackson County Community Corrections, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Homeland Security Investigations Division and the Jackson County District Attorney's Office.
You can contact the county-wide anonymous tip line utilized by MADGE at 541-774-2202. In addition to narcotic and gang related tips, information can be left anonymously concerning any type of criminal activity within the county, or you can submit a tip below.
