Mobile Food Vendor - Street Vending Right of Way

 

What you need to do!

  • First, please make sure that you already have a Mobile Food Unit business license with the City of Medford.   If you do not have one, please contact someone in Business Licensing to help direct you. Email at businesslicenses@cityofmedford.org and reference STREET VENDING RIGHT OF WAY

Step 2.Step 2

  • If you do have your Mobile Food Unit business license, you can now submit your application for Street Vending in designated Right of Way areas in Medford.

    Here are the items you will need for review:
    1. Mobile Food Vendor/Street Vending - ROW application (filled out entirely - do not miss a question as this may delay final approval!)
    2. Medford Fire Department business information & check list (2 pages)
    3. Current drawing of your food truck, trailer or cart (include dimensions)
    4. A current copy of your Jackson County Health Inspection

  • Submit your application packet:
    1. By email:  businesslicenses@cityofmedford.org
    2. In person:  200 S. Ivy Street, Lausmann Annex, Second Floor
    3. Mail:  City of Medford, Attn: B/L, 200 S. Ivy Street, Medford OR 97501

Step 4.Approval and Payment

  • The business license review takes approximately 5- 7 business days 
  • Once the review is done, you will be contacted by our department for any payment due (by email)
  • FEES: Quarterly fee $300 / Annual Infrastructure Impact fee $100 (Unless previously paid with your active Private Property Mobile Food Unit business license) / $50 application review fee
  • Payments can be made online (link will be provided) or in person.
  • Once payment has been made, we will issue the Street Vending - ROW business license.
