Jackson Park

Located next to Jackson Elementary School at the corner of Summit Avenue and Clark Street, this 10.5-acre park was once home to the Jackson Aquatic Center, a beloved community pool built in 1960. For over six decades, it served as a popular summer destination, drawing nearly 20,000 visitors each year between June and September. In August 2023, the pool held its final Open Swim, marked by a celebration honoring its long-standing role in the community before it was officially decommissioned.

Now Jackson Park offers a quiet community space featuring a modern play structure, renovated in 2018 and is the site of Fagone Field, a welcoming environment for community baseball and softball.
