City Parks and Facilities

We provide a system of attractive, safe, clean, accessible, interconnected parks throughout the city. Our city has over thirty public park and facility spaces. From birthday parties to large events, we can help. Outdoor park spaces and venues, the Santo Community Center, and Lithia & Driveway Fields are available to rent.

Alba Park

Formerly known as City Park and Parco D' Alba, Alba Park is a 1.5-acre neighborhood park located at 301 W. Main Street in downtown Medford across 8th Street from City Hall.

Bear Creek Park

The park comprises approximately 110 acres and includes little league fields, an off-leash dog area, a BMX track, an outdoor performing amphitheater.

Cedar Links Park

Purchased in 2010, this property encompasses five acres located at 3101 Cedar Links Drive.

Chrissy Park

Located on Cherry Lane south of Hillcrest Road, Dorothy D. Whittle entrusted this 165-acre site to the City in 1998..

Discovery Preschool

This program will introduce your child to letters, numbers, colors and shapes through a variety of activities and games.

Donahue-Frohnmayer Park

This 10-acre park contains a general play area, swings (ADA accessible), a small basketball court and restrooms.

Earhart Park

Tucked into a residential area near Fortune and Eastwood, Earhart Park has a swing set, picnic tables and an open turf area.

I.O.O.F Eastwood Cemetery

Established in 1890, the Medford I.O.O.F. Eastwood Cemetery is significant for its association with the earliest period of settlement and development of Medford and is one of several established by the fraternal organization in Oregon.

Jefferson Elementary School Park

The City of Medford maintains two ball fields and grassy areas on the south side of Jefferson Elementary School, along Kenyon Street and Garfield Ave.

Kennedy Elementary School Park

Located along Springbrook Road, Kennedy School Park is an 8.11-acre neighborhood park that was upgraded and expanded in 2018.

Lewis Park

Lewis Park is an 8+ acre park located on the corner of Lewis Ave. and 8th Street in west Medford.

Liberty Park

Opened in 2014, this quarter-acre park on the corner of N. Bartlett St and Maple Street features a small play area, a paved walking path, a picnic area, and restrooms.

Lithia & Driveway Fields

Lithia & Driveway Fields is the largest municipal installation of FieldTurf in the United States with nearly 1.5 million square-feet of synthetic grass.

Lone Pine Park

Located at 3158 Lone Pine Road, Lone Pine Park is a 3.56-acre property built in 2007 with sweeping views of Medford.

Pear Blossom Park

Located at 312 E 4th St. at The Commons in downtown Medford, Pear Blossom Park consists of two park blocks containing a play area adjacent to surface fountains, a covered stage, and a large grassy area.

Prescott Park

Prescott Park is accessed from Roxy Ann Drive, off of Hillcrest Road. The park totals 1740 acres.

Railroad Park

Located at 799 Berrydale Avenue, Railroad Park offers free rides every 2nd and 4th Sunday each month April thru October 11am - 3pm.

Rogue X

The Rogue X contains a 76,000-square foot multi-purpose event center, an indoor recreation pool featuring two water slides, a 13-lane indoor competition pool, classrooms, an outdoor seasonal splashpad, and a food truck pod.

Ruhl Park

Shaded by several trees originally planted in 1971, Ruhl Park is a popular location for picnics and family gatherings due to its distinctive gazebo and recently refurbished playground.

Santo Community Center

The Santo Community Center houses the office of the City of Medford Parks and Recreation Department and serves as a hub for hundreds of youth, family and adult programs or activities.

Summerfield Park

Located at 3587 Cherry Lane, this neighborhood park has a small play area, restrooms and a perimeter pathway.

Union Park

Developed in the 1950s and renovated in 2014, the 1.38-acre Union Park is the first Medford park to feature LED-lit pathways and a large, vandal-resistant steel play structure.

Veterans Park

Over the last several years veterans and other community members have worked hard to erect several memorials at the site.

Village Center Park

Village Center Park is a 3.2-acre neighborhood park that features a playground, picnic shelter, basketball half-court, walking paths, and a restroom.

Virginia Vogel Plaza

Located at the corner of E. Main St. and Central Ave. in the heart of downtown Medford, the 75-by-100-foot Vogel Plaza features a popular fountain and the much-photographed "Chess Man" sculpture.

Wilson School Park

Wilson School Park is a 6.5-acre area of the Wilson Elementary School campus owned by the Medford School District that is maintained by the Medford Parks and Recreation Department.
