Addressing Homelessness

The City is actively working with partners to reduce hardships that lead to the homelessness of our residents and families with children and increase access to affordable housing for those at-risk of becoming homeless.

Over $16.5 million is being dedicated to support these efforts. Homelessness is a complex and challenging issue. These initiatives require federal, state, county, city, nonprofit, and community partnerships in order to achieve system-wide impacts

Medford Navigation Center

The new Navigation Center will provide 24/7 emergency shelter and access to health services, public benefits, permanent housing connections and other services for unhoused individuals and families.

Livability Team

The team is comprised of dedicated officers who focus on addressing livability issues throughout Medford.

Affordable Housing

The City recognizes the importance of having affordable housing in a community and have identified it as a critical component to economic development.
