The Medford Parks, Recreation and Facilities' Summer 2026 Activity Guide hit mailboxes earlier this month, offering residents a full lineup of programs, events, and seasonal activities.

The guide highlights a variety of offerings, including:

  • Aquatics programs and swimming lessons
  • Youth programs—art, sports, and discovery
  • Adult programs—hikes, music, and yoga
  • Facility rental opportunities

Popular annual events are back, including Corgi-Con on May 1 and the Doxin-Dash on August 28, both from 6 to 9 p.m. at Walkabout Brewery.

Movies in the Park returns June 20, kicking off at dusk with Zootopia 2 at Rogue X, with additional screenings scheduled throughout the summer.

A new Independence Day celebration, Red, White & Pool, is set for July 4 at Rogue X from 1 to 3 p.m. The event will feature a free open house with open swim and open gym activities, including pickleball, volleyball, and basketball. Food will be available while supplies last, along with giveaways and live music from Mo Phillips at 1:30 p.m., part of the new Gigglemug’s Fam Jams series.

The guide also includes a City Spotlight highlighting recent updates across Medford, including a new park planned for west Medford and recent Council support for community nonprofits.
