Administration Division

The Administration Division goal is to ensure financial stewardship and long-term municipal financial stability to City services, assets and facilities. The Administration Division will manage activities associated with personnel, fiscal affairs, training, vehicle fleet and logistical needs of the Operations Bureau, other governmental agencies, and the public in a timely, economical and courteous manner.

Training Unit

Our training is comprised of both classroom and hand-on, with force-on-force training emphasized through the use of scenario-based training and simulations.

Police Advisory Committee

The Police Advisory Committee assists MPD in exploring solutions to community issues and to serve as a forum for community members to seek redress for unresolved police complaints.

Police Citizens Academy

MPD hosts a Citizens Academy program once a year to provide residents an opportunity to learn about the duties and responsibilities of our department.
