Recreation Scholarships
The Medford Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Medford Parks and Recreation Foundation, provides a scholarship fund to assist families facing economic barriers to participating in recreation activities.
Please complete the electronic scholarship form below. Scholarships are typically processed within 5-7 days. You will receive a welcome email once the scholarship has been approved and processed. Scholarships remain active for the calendar year. You must reapply annually. Contact us with questions at parks@cityofmedford.org or call us at 541.774.2400.

Available Scholarships
Swimming Lessons (50% Discount) – Swimming lessons are provided year-round. Both private and group lessons are available. Swimming Lesson scholarship discounts are redeemable online.
Youth Sports (25% Discount) – Scholarships can be used for the following programs Little Hoopsters Basketball, Spec Rec Sports Sampler, Youth Indoor Soccer, NFL Flag Football League, Tot Sports Sampler & Circuit Training. Youth Sports scholarship discounts are redeemable online.
Day Camps* (50% Discount) – Scholarships can be used for Summer & School Break Day Camps held at the Santo Center. This scholarship cannot be applied to specialty camps or sports camps. Learn more about camps. Summer Camp scholarship discounts are redeemable in person at the Santo Community Center or on the phone by calling 541.774.2400.
Rogue X Pass Scholarships (50% Discount) – The Rogue X Scholarship Pass is good for 1-year from the date of purchase. The first month’s payment is due when signing up. A credit card must be put on file that will be billed monthly with the 50% discount applied. The pass can be cancelled any time by emailing parks@cityofmedford.org. Prorated refunds will not be provided for early cancellation. Children 13 & under must be accompanied by an adult. Scholarship passes are available for adults who are accompanying children. * Completed applications must be submitted by April 10 to be considered for Summer Camp scholarships. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and do not guarantee a spot.
