Community development activities funded through the program address the priority needs, goals, objectives and strategies identified through the City’s Five-Year Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development. Along with this, the Housing and Community Development Division construct other plans, reports, and analysis in order to assure that funding is being used for its intended purpose. Below is a list of documents and resources related to CDBG plans and Policies:

The Five-Year Consolidated Plan is a comprehensive planning document that identifies the City’s overall priority needs for housing and community development and outlines a five-year strategy to address those needs adopted by the Medford City Council.  The plan also provides a framework for annual decisions on the use of CDBG funds provided by HUD and serves as a guide for local agencies seeking federal, state and local financial assistance under alternative funding sources.
