The Medford Fire Department invites you and your family to two free open houses during Fire Prevention Week! This is your chance to explore local fire stations, meet the firefighters who serve our community, and learn important safety tips.
 
Event Schedule
  • Station 16 – Tuesday, October 7, 4–6 p.m. | 3700 E Barnett Road
  • Station 12 – Thursday, October 9, 4–6 p.m. | 1107 Stewart Avenue
 
What to Expect
  • Go behind the scenes on a fire station tour
  • See fire engines and equipment up close
  • Spray water from a real fire hose
  • Enjoy activity tables with free safety handouts
 
This Year’s Safety Focus: “Charge into Fire Safety”
Crews will share practical tips for safely using lithium-ion batteries found in everyday items like phones, e-bikes, and power tools. Local firefighters have responded to several battery-related fires in recent years, making this an especially timely topic for our community.
Come connect with your firefighters, explore the stations, and take home knowledge that helps keep your family safe.
