Medford Seeks Artists to Transform Downtown Traffic Signal Boxes
Published on April 02, 2026
The City of Medford Planning Department, in partnership with the Downtown Medford Association and the Public Arts Selection Committee, invites local artists to participate in the new ArtBox Program—a public art initiative designed to bring creative energy to downtown Medford.
The program will feature original artwork on vinyl wraps installed on traffic signal boxes throughout the downtown area. This initiative provides artists with a unique opportunity to display their work in highly visible, community-centered locations while contributing to Medford’s vibrancy and identity.

Artists of all ages living in Jackson or Josephine counties and working in any visual medium—including painting, illustration, photography, and graphic design—are encouraged to apply. Submissions should include both a low-resolution digital file (minimum 4x6 print size) and a high-resolution digital file that meets program specifications.
