The Medford Fire Department is excited to host open houses during Fire Prevention Week, offering a unique opportunity for residents to meet local firefighters and learn essential fire safety tips.

This year’s theme, “Smoke Alarms: Make Them Work for You!”, focuses on the critical role that smoke alarms play in protecting homes and families.

Event Schedule:

  • Station 12: Tuesday, October 8 | 3 pm – 6 pm
  • Station 16: Wednesday, October 9 | 3 pm – 6 pm

At these open houses, residents will have the chance to:

  • See fire engines and equipment up close
  • Spray water from a fire hose
  • Learn all about smoke alarms and home fire safety
  • Enjoy activity tables with free fire safety handouts
