Traffic Alert: Lone Pine Road to Partially Close for Construction
Published on January 11, 2024
Starting Monday, January 15, 2024, the east end of Lone Pine Road and its connection with Foothill Road will be fully closed to all traffic. This closure will allow contractors to complete the new storm water system and water quality structure.
Access to Lone Pine Road from Brookdale Avenue and Springbrook Road will be open at all times.
The east end of Lone Pine Road is scheduled to reopen to traffic in early February.
The work is part of the $62 million Foothill Road project being constructed in part due to a $15 million Federal Build Grant received by Medford. It improves Foothill Road from Delta Waters Road south to Hillcrest Road.
When complete at the end of 2026, the existing two-lane road will feature two lanes in each direction, along with turn lanes, sidewalks, bike lanes and street lighting.
Project information and current construction schedule (subject to change) is available at: FoothillRoadProject.org.
