Fall Events Offer Fun Ways to Stay Connected and Prepared

September is National Preparedness Month, and one of the best ways for residents to be prepared is to stay connected to their community. This fall, the City of Medford is hosting several events where families can meet the people who protect the community, learn about local resources, and have some fun along the way.
From meeting first responders and exploring emergency vehicles to celebrating Halloween and getting an inside look at Medford’s newest fire station, these events offer something for the whole family.
Safety Saturday
Bring the whole family to a fun-filled day of safety and adventure hosted by Medford Police. Meet local first responders, enjoy bike & pedestrian safety activities, decorate helmets, explore emergency vehicles, and more!

Fire Station 15 Open House
Get an inside look at Medford Fire’s new Station 15 during an interactive open house.
Date: Saturday, October 10
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: 2124 Roberts Road
Trunk-or-Treat
Join Medford Police and other City departments for an evening of treats, activities, and fun! Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
Date: Thursday, October 29
Time: 4 to 6 p.m.
Location: City Hall parking lot
Medford Police Open House
Celebrate 10 years of Medford Police serving from its new headquarters during an open house.
Date: Thursday, November 12
