Community Impact

Fund administration helps turn public dollars into visible, meaningful results for Medford residents. By coordinating and overseeing funding from multiple federal and local sources, the City helps ensure resources are invested where they matter most: supporting essential safety net services, sustaining critical public services, and expanding affordable housing opportunities. Strong fund administration promotes accountability, compliance, and strategic use of limited resources, while helping community partners deliver programs that protect vulnerable households, strengthen neighborhood stability, and improve quality of life across Medford.

The Housing and Community Development Division administers funding from multiple sources and the dashboard below shows how funds have been used in our community since 2009.

  • Community Development Block Grant (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development)
  • HOME Investment Partnerships (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development)
  • General Fund Grant (local funding)
  • Housing Opportunity Fund (Construction Excise Tax)
