About

Rogue Valley residents, business owners, and workers are being called upon to share their perspectives on the economic future of the Rogue Valley.

The Cities of Ashland and Medford are each conducting an Economic Opportunity Analysis (EOA) in compliance with Oregon State Goal 9.  An EOA is a technical study that compares projected demand for commercial and industrial land and employment uses to the existing supply of land. The EOAs aim to guide long-term economic planning and are built upon existing strategies, such as Medford’s Vision 2040 Plan, and proposed strategies that will assist in guiding Medford’s economic future. Input from a broad range of community members – including an Economic Development Advisory Committee, employers, employees, and residents – is critical in shaping these efforts.

This is a unique opportunity for residents and businesses to play an active role in shaping the economic landscape of Ashland and Medford. Community participation is vital in ensuring that the cities’ economic plans reflect the needs and aspirations of those who live and work in the region.
