Drug Take Back Event

Event reminders:

• Law enforcement and volunteers will not directly handle medications at any time. Please have items in a bag or place them in the provided box at the event.
• Remove or black out any identifying information from prescription bottles.
• Ensure caps/lids are securely tightened on all pharmaceutical products.
• Solid medication may be disposed of in its original container or directly into the provided disposal box.
• Liquid products must remain sealed in their original container.

Items that will not be accepted:

• Illicit substances such as marijuana or methamphetamine
• Intra-venous solutions, injectables, inhalers, syringes, or chemotherapy medications
• Vaping devices that have batteries that cannot be removed or medical waste
• Mercury thermometers, oxygen containers, and pressurized canisters
