Get ready to showcase your creativity at Medford Parks and Recreation's annual Chalk About Medford event on June 27 at Rogue X.
Participants will receive chalk and a 4x5-foot sidewalk square to express their artistic talents.
The competition runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with judging starting immediately afterward. Prizes will be awarded for both Judge’s Choice and People’s Choice in youth and adult categories.
Following the chalk event, a summer kick-off celebration will begin with music, food (free for the first 200 attendees), and a movie.
Registration costs $25 per sidewalk square for ages 13 and up and $15 for those under 13. The movie portion is free and part of the department’s annual Movies in the Park series.
