Springbrook Road Improvement Project Completed, Open to Traffic

Springbrook Road Roundabout

Springbrook Road from Cedar Links Drive to Pheasant Lane is now open to traffic following an eight month closure as multiple improvements were made throughout the corridor.

There is now a roundabout at the intersection of Springbrook and Cedar Links, a northbound and southbound travel lane, center turn lane, bike lanes and street lighting.

Additionally, this project has provided multi-modal and improved passage through the creation of sidewalks to Kennedy Elementary School, North Medford High School, and Kennedy Park.

“As our City grows, we want to ensure travelers are able to get to where they need to go as safely and efficiently as possible,” said Brian Sjothun, City Manager. “These new improvements allow safe access to area schools, Kennedy Park and throughout the corridor by various means of transportation.”

As this route has new traffic control, including a new intersection, we urge drivers to drive carefully and reduce their speed.
