Splash into Summer with Water Safety Day at RogueX

Medford Parks and Recreation is inviting families to dive into summer safely with Water Safety Day, a free event taking place Thursday, June 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at RogueX.

The family-friendly day will feature interactive demonstrations, safety workshops, and fun activities designed to equip attendees of all ages with essential water safety skills. Free access to RogueX’s splash pad will also be available during the event.

A highlight includes The World’s Largest Swim Lesson, a global initiative to promote water safety. Participants registered for swim lessons that day will automatically take part.

Water Safety Day is made possible through partnerships with Medford Police and Fire, Oregon State Police, Oregon Rescue, Rural Metro Fire, Mercy Flights, American Red Cross, U.S. Forest Service, Providence Health & Services, Travel Medford, Rogue Rapids Swim Team, Coral Sea Scuba, and Hellgate Jetboat Excursions.
