A new four-story hotel with 134 guest rooms is coming to downtown Medford, just north of Pear Blossom Park.
Western Hospitality, LLC will develop an Element by Westin hotel, a Marriott International, Inc. brand. The company began 25 years ago in Grand Junction, Colorado, and has since expanded into the Rogue Valley to pursue both hotel and restaurant opportunities.
The hotel will be built on approximately 2.77 acres of land at 310 N. Bartlett Street, between East Third Street and East Fourth Street, and North Bartlett Street and Apple Street. The site is currently used primarily for parking.
Amenities and features include an outdoor patio, pool, and spa for guests, along with a large meeting room, dining and lounge spaces, and a fitness room.
Work is scheduled to begin in late August, with an estimated completion date of spring or summer 2027.
The Site Plan and Architectural Commission approved the final order for construction in early May.
