The Medford Police Association is happy to announce that Alyse L has won the 2026 Pastor Dale Meador Scholarship.
The Pastor Dale Meador Scholarship was created in honor of Pastor Dale Meador, who played an instrumental role within the Medford Police Department and the Medford community. Pastor Meador was a kind, caring, and compassionate man who gave to others without hesitation despite any personal hardships. This scholarship is awarded annually to one individual who shares Pastor Meador’s passion for people.
To qualify for this scholarship, the applicant must demonstrate how they have made a positive impact on others in the community and their willingness to continue their impact. Through a 1000-word essay, they must outline their contributions, describe what their future holds, and how they plan on investing in themselves and others through education, volunteer work, etc. Many impressive submissions from students with diverse backgrounds and accomplishments were received
