Local Agencies Host Public Safety Recruitment Event

Are you ready to explore a career that truly makes a difference?  Medford Police (MPD) is partnering with Medford Fire (MFD), Jackson County Sherriff's Office (JCSO), Jackson County Fire District 3 (JCFD3), Jackson County Fire District 5 (JCFD5), Mercy Flights (MFI) and Emergency Communications of Southern Oregon to host a one-of-a-kind recruiting event.  Join us on Friday, September 26th from 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM to learn about careers in public safety and connect directly with the agencies who serve our community every day!

What to Expect

  • Interactive presentations every 45 minutes (choose what YOU want to learn about)
  • Real insights into the testing process, hiring requirements, and agency culture
  • A chance to meet police officers, firefighters, corrections staff, dispatchers, medical responders, and more
  • Food & drinks provided 
  • Open to candidates and their spouses!

Event Schedule

  • 3:00 – 3:30 PM → Police Career Path & Testing (MPD & JCSO)
  • 3:45 – 4:15 PM → Fire Department Careers (MFD & JCFD3)
  • 4:30 – 5:00 PM → Corrections Career Path (JCSO Jail)
  • 5:15 – 5:45 PM → How to Ace Your Public Safety Interview
  • 6:00 – 6:30 PM → Dispatch Career Path (ECSO)
  • 6:45 – 7:15 PM → Medical Response Careers (MFI)

Location Details
This event will be at the ETHOS Training Center (4414 S. Pacific Hwy, Phoenix, OR). The classroom is located at the back of the ETHOS property — signs will guide you. Parking available in the front lot or across the street.
