Foothill Road Update: McAndrews Road to Cedar Links Drive

Foothill Road will continue to be closed to through traffic at McAndrews Road and Cedar Links Drive while contractors perform work north of Normil Terrace to Cedar Links Drive.

Starting Monday, July 29, Normil Terrace residents will use the newly paved section of Foothill Road with access from McAndrews Road.  

This section of Foothill Road is scheduled to open in November 2024.

The work is part of the $62 million Foothill Road project being constructed in part due to a $15 million Federal Build Grant received by Medford. It improves Foothill Road from Delta Waters Road south to Hillcrest Road. 

When complete at the end of 2026, the existing two-lane road will feature two lanes in each direction, along with turn lanes, sidewalks, bike lanes and street lighting.
