Foothill Road Improvements Near Completion

Work on the Foothill Road Improvement Project is entering its final stages, with completion expected by mid-summer.

Crews are wrapping up paving and driveway connections north of Delta Waters, while sidewalks and driveway connections on the south side are also underway.

Concrete separators and traffic islands will be installed from Cedar Links Drive to Delta Waters Road, with landscaping and final striping scheduled soon. 

Started in early 2023, the $62 million project—funded in part by a $15 million Federal BUILD Grant—upgrades Foothill Road from Delta Waters Road to Hillcrest Road.

The improvements will transform the former two-lane road into a modern corridor with four lanes, turn lanes, bike lanes, sidewalks, and street lighting.
