City to Host Wood Debris Chipper Days

Fire season is approaching, and Medford Fire and Parks, Recreation and Facilities departments are hosting free events to help Medford residents prepare their property.

The Wood Debris Chipper Days will take place on Wednesday, March 26 and Thursday, March 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the following locations:

• Donahue-Frohnmayer Park (east side) - 1687 Spring St.
• Fichtner-Mainwaring Park (west side) - 334 Holmes Ave.
  
  

Please keep the following in mind:

• Clean wood debris only (limbs and branches)
• Max 8" diameter
• Please do not bring grass trimmings, weeds, trash or construction materials
• This event is intended for Medford residents (no commercial loads please)
  
  

Getting rid of your debris will help reduce fire hazards around your property and minimizes the potential spread if a wildfire event were to occur.
