As the Fourth of July holiday approaches, the City of Medford is reminding residents to celebrate responsibly and follow local fireworks regulations.Fire danger in the Medford area is currently High. While consumer fireworks are legal during the designated use period, current conditions make it especially important to follow safety precautions and dispose of fireworks properly.

Starting January 1, 2025, the Medford City Council will meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month, with Study Sessions on the second Wednesday of the month. All meetings will begin at 6 p.m. This change replaces the previous Thursday meeting schedule and will help streamline city operations while providing more consistency for public participation.
Please note, due to New Year’s Day falling on the first Wednesday of January, the first Council meeting of the year will be held on January 8, 2025.
