The 73rd annual Pear Blossom Festival returns to Medford from Friday, April 10 through Saturday, April 11.

This longstanding Rogue Valley tradition features a multitude of events, including the parade, street fair, pageants, tournaments, and more.

The parade will kick off at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, and starts at Beatty Street and Central Avenue, proceeding down Central, turning right onto West Main Street, and ending at Mistletoe Street.

This year’s Grand Marshal is Habitat for Humanity, with the theme “Pear-ing Homes with Humanity.”

The Street Fair will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday in downtown Medford.

Since its start in 1954 with just 20 wagons and youngsters, the parade has grown to over 150 entrants and more than 4,000 participants, drawing a crowd of 25,000 to 30,000.
