Notice of Public Hearing
A public hearing will be held before the Medford Planning Commission on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 5:30 P.M.
What is being considered? Consideration of a legislative amendment to Chapter 10 of the Medford Municipal Code to restrict the locations where car washes can be permitted. A summary of the code amendment options being presented to the Planning Commission and City Council are below: Option 1: Prohibit car washes in the Community Commercial (C-C) zone. Option 2: Prohibit car washes within 250 or 500 feet of higher-order street intersections. Option 3: Prohibit in the C-C zone; and prohibit within 250 or 500 feet of higher-order street intersections. Option 4: No change to the current regulations.

Meeting Information: Planning Commission meetings are typically held the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 5:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 411 W. 8th Street.
