A public hearing will be held before the Medford Planning Commission on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 5:30 pm.
What is being considered? Application proposing to reduce the setback requirement for a dog care facility specified by MLDC 10.813(1)(b)(ii) from 200 feet to 60 feet. The setback-reduction request would apply to the 27,233 square foot facility, proposed by application AC-26-188, on a single, 27.82 net acre parcel (371W06 TL 2607). Site is located in northeast Medford, at the western terminus of Kingsley Drive, with frontage along Grumman and Kingsley Drives. Parcel is GLUP-designated Commercial (CM), zoned Heavy Industrial (I-H), and lies within the (A-R) Airport Radar and (A-C) Airport Area of Concern Overlays.
