A public hearing will be held before the Medford Planning Commission on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 5:30 P.M.
What is being considered? Planning Commission will Consider a proposal requesting to rezone 45.4 acres of a 61.3 acre tax lot (371W26100) within the 106 acre Chrissy Crest Urbanization Plan Area from SFR-00 (Single-Family Residential, one dwelling unit per lot) to SFR-2 (Single Family Residential, 0.8 to 2 dwelling units per gross acre), SFR-4 (2.5 to 4 dwelling units per gross acre), SFR-6 (4 to 6 dwelling units per gross acre), and MFR-20 (Multi-family Residential, 15 to 20 dwelling units per gross acre). Site is fronted by Hillcrest Road to the north and Cherry Lane to the west and is designated UR (Urban Residential) and UH (Urban High Density Residential), with an E-A (Exclusive Agricultural) Overlay.

Meeting Information: Planning Commission meetings are typically held the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 5:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 411 W. 8th Street.
