Jackson County has a consortium of local governments and waste haulers called the Jackson County Recycling Partnership, who meet regularly to address state recycling mandates.  Click on the options below for resources to help with your waste and recycling efforts!

Free Mattress Recycling

Jackson County residents can drop off unwanted mattresses or box springs at no cost. This cost-saving opportunity can help community members recycle unwanted mattresses and box springs, instead of paying dump fees. Items can be any type of construction or condition.

Mattress recycling reduces illegal dumping in parks, riverbeds and streets. It saves energy and water, because the steel, foam and wood in old mattresses are used to create new products. Now, mattress recycling is free for Jackson County residents, thanks to an Oregon state law and the Mattress Recycling Council’s Bye Bye Mattress program.
