In May 2015, the City Council adopted Ordinance 2015-37(PDF, 17KB) which provides provisions for beekeeping in the City limits. Beekeeping is permitted in all single family residential zones (SFR-00, SFR-2, SFR-4, SFR-6, and SFR-10), as well as all commercial and industrial zones. A no-fee registration form must be filled out and submitted to the Medford Planning Department. By signing the form, the registrant agrees to the provisions in Section 10.813 (C) of the Medford Municipal Code. To access the registration form, click here(PDF, 140KB).
