Utility Billing

The Utility Billing Department provides customer service as well as billing services for the City of Medford. Utility fees help operate and maintain our city.

These fees go towards maintaining the city streets, sewer and storm drain lines. Fees are also used to maintain parks, public right-of-ways and provides funds for public safety. 

The City of Medford offers several ways to pay your utility bill. Simplify your life by paying your monthly City of Medford Utilities bill through our Self Service Portal.

 

Pay Your Bill

Online

Make recurring or one-time payments by using a credit card on our online payment portal, a secure customer service website. Either pay as a guest or login/sign up to access your account.

*If you are signing up for the first time, makes sure to have your customer and account number to register and activate your account.

Create an account to have access to:

  • One time only or recurring payments.
  • Sign-up for auto pay
  • Sign-up for eBilling
  • View your account balance
  • View payment history

Don't want to worry about missing a payment? Set your account up with autopay directly from your checking account or debit/credit card. Its free of charge to Medford residents and businesses.

Step 1.Log in or sign up online

  • Note: If you are signing up for the first time, make sure to register and activate your account first. You will need your account and customer number to register.

Step 2.Enroll in Automatic Payments

  • Go to Manage Services
  • Select Auto Pay
  • Select Payment Plan type:
    • Choose to draw payment on due date
    • Or select to have payment drawn on the 10th of each month
  • Select Start Date
    • Select today's date
  • Select Payment Method
    • Checking
    • Savings
    • Credit Card
  • Submit

Step 3.Signup by Phone

  • Use the automated system to enroll in autopay with a debit or credit card
  • Speak with a representative to enroll with a checking or savings account

Step 4.By Mail

  •      Fill out Bank Draft Form(PDF, 213KB) and mail to us with a voided check.  Mail form to: City of Medford Utility Billing, 411 W. 8th Street, Medford, OR 97501.

 Auto pay can take up to 30 days to process first payment. To avoid late fees and past due notices continue to pay your bill manually until you see "Autopay" printed at the top of your statement.

Pay by Phone

Pay your bill using our automated phone system:

Call: 541-774-2140 and Select Option #2

In the automated system you can:

  • Check your balance
  • Review payment history
  • Setup reoccurring payments with a credit card

Credit card payments by phone is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Representatives are also available to assist during our business hours of Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

In-Person

City of Medford City Hall ( 1st floor counter), Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

 You can also leave a check or money order in our after-hours drop box.
