Drug Take Back Event

Drop off your unused, outdated and unwanted prescription drugs and shred confidential documents at this free event!

Location: City Hall parking lot. Please enter from Ivy St. and exit onto Oakdale Ave.

Event reminders:

Law enforcement and volunteers will not directly handle medications at any time. Please have items in a bag or place them in the provided box at the event.
Remove or black out any identifying information from prescription bottles.
Ensure caps/lids are securely tightened on all pharmaceutical products.
Solid medication may be disposed of in its original container or directly into the provided disposal box.
Liquid products must remain sealed in their original container.

Items that will not be accepted:

Illicit substances such as marijuana or methamphetamine
Intra-venous solutions, injectables, inhalers, syringes, or chemotherapy medications
Vaping devices that have batteries that cannot be removed or medical waste
Mercury thermometers, oxygen containers, and pressurized canisters
