Traffic Lane Changes Coming to McAndrews Road

The Public Works department will begin road repairs next week on McAndrews Road between Crater Lake Avenue and Springbrook Road. Once completed, McAndrews Road will have one vehicle lane in each direction, one bike lane in each direction and a center turn lane. This project aims to improve safety for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.

Starting Monday, August 8, travelers should expect delays on McAndrew’s Road between Crater Lake Avenue and Royal Avenue as crews grind and overlay pave the road. 

Please note the below traffic impact items which will be in effect Monday, August 8 and Tuesday, August 9, between 3:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

  • Avoid area; use alternative travel routes.
  • One westbound lane on McAndrews between Crater Lake Avenue and Royal Avenue will remain open.
  • Eastbound lanes on McAndrews between Crater Lake Avenue and Royal Avenue will be closed and a detour is available – southbound traffic on Royal, eastbound on Spring Street up to Crater Lake Avenue. 

All traffic will be allowed to go westbound on McAndrew’s from Tuesday, August 9 through Friday, August 12, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Eastbound traffic will be detoured.
