Lane, Sidewalk, & Alley Closures - May 6-June 3

Please note the following traffic impact items:

LANE CLOSURES

  • South Central Avenue from Earhart Street to Boyd Street: Expect delays, detours, lane closures with flaggers in place, while Knife River crews work in the right-of-way, May 6 & 11 between 8:30 am – 4 pm.
  • Crater Lake Avenue from  Steven Street to Spring Street: Expect delays, detours, lane closures with flaggers in place, while Michels crews work in the right-of-way, May 20 – June 3 between 8:30 am – 4 pm.
  • Biddle Road from Fisher Avenue to Knutson Avenue: Expect delays, detours, lane closures with flaggers in place, while Medford Water Commission crews work in the right-of-way, May 3 – 20 between 8:30 am – 4 pm.
  • Humphrey Street from Kenwood Avenue to North Columbus Avenue: Expect delays, detours, lane closures with flaggers in place, while Michels crews work in the right-of-way, May 11 – 27 between 7 am – 5 pm.                         

ALLEY CLOSURE

  • Alley Between South Holly Street and South Grape Street from Monroe Street to Melrose Street: Expect delays, detours, lane closures with flaggers in place, while Michels crews performs work in the right-of-way, May 16 – 30 between 7am – 5pm.

SIDEWALK CLOSURE

  • Whitman Avenue from Holmes Avenue to Garfield Street: the sidewalk on the west side of Whitman Avenue will be closed with traffic controls in place including pedestrian detours, while Hukills performs work in the right-of-way, May 11 - 13 between 8:30 am – 4 pm.

Travelers should expect delays associated with this work and are advised to seek alternate routes and parking. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in keeping Medford's work zones safe. Work schedules are dependent on weather conditions and other factors.
