The Medford Municipal Court will waive all civil wedding ceremony fees during the month of June in celebration of Wedding Month.
June has long been associated with weddings and marriage traditions, and also holds significance within the legal community due to landmark court decisions recognizing marriage rights and equality.
In December 2025, Municipal Court Judge Virginia Greer performed the first wedding ceremony in several decades, restoring a service that had long been absent from Court operations.
Ceremonies will be conducted by appointment at City Hall. Couples must obtain a valid Oregon marriage license through the appropriate county office prior to the ceremony.
Appointments are limited and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
