Chad Miller began serving as Councilmember for Ward 3 in January of 2021.
In his professional life, Chad Miller is a law enforcement officer. That career has provided the knowledge of critical matters within the county with a multitude of viewpoints, opinions and situations throughout Medford.
Chad is well known for his ability to listen, process, and apply exceptional critical thinking skills to issues, situations, and circumstances. He is a people person who enjoys the process of creating and implementing strategies that benefit individuals and groups. As a Sheriff’s Deputy for the Corrections Department, Chad’s focus is on safety, continuity, and consensus as he interacts with colleagues, inmates and outside resources.
His priorities during his tenure are ensuring public safety, supporting affordable housing opportunities, and promoting economic growth.
Chad and his wife, Emily, have lived in the Rogue Valley for more than a decade. They have two boys, Elijah and Micah.
Chad earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
